Dream Diary Pt. 3

Friday afternoon I took a nap and... well...

I don't remember what I was thinking before I went to sleep, but when I started to dream I was laying on my stomach in a bed. Basically, the way I usually am before I go to sleep with my arms holding up my head. I started thinking randomly about things {I hadn't realized I was dreaming yet, though I usually do by then}.

All of a sudden, I could not open my eyes. I tried to open them {pretty much pried them open} and saw red veins around my field vision. It was the *most* painful thing I have ever experienced {or a close second, but I'm pretty sure it wins.}. My eyes would not stop hurting for the rest of the dream {I was in... a blue?? hotel} I ran around looking for my mother {she's a nurse} to help me fix my eyes. I went up an elevator, and into a bathroom. When I looked in the mirror I noticed my eyes were changing colors, one of my pupil {that’s the colored + black part, right? If not, then I’m talking about the colored and black part.} was turning blue, and the other red. It kind of looked like paint was filling my eyes {from the bottom-left up on the left, and bottom-right up on the right} but without the whole wishy washy liquidy thing. I don’t know how else to describe it, because it didn’t look like it an eye color. It was disgusting {for an eye}, but mainly painful. I noticed I was dreaming around there, but there was nothing I could do about it.

I tried everything I could think of to get them to stop hurting and throbbing, and I had this really odd desire to put my head on the ground so I tried that, and it started fluctuating, but it never stopped. As I was lying on the blue {carpet??} floor in agony, I woke up. Twas horrible. Now, this dream was long, but most of it was running around screaming annoying phrases like ‘Make it stop’ which I really don’t like and I can’t believe I said that, but whatever, you’re allowed to break rules in dreams, correct?

Now I am stressing the painful part because I have many painful dreams {or at least, dreams with pain}, but this was only the second time I have ever experience that kind of pain in a dream.

The other time this happened I was talking to Batman and someone poisoned me {at least, that’s what I figured, because he’s batman and they gave us food/water/something edible} and my head wouldn't stop hurting. It didn't last as long as this {it was pretty short}, and because I have had painful dreams before I didn't think too much of it, but I was afraid to go to sleep for a few days.

Now I'm REALLY afraid to go to sleep. I don't like pain.

Usually I only experience pain AFTER I've realized I was dreaming, but this time I was before. {Oh, and I never wake up when I figure that out, I also don't get to control my dreams after it either.}

Um, btw, the last thing I thought about was the dream that I had a while ago {it’s posted}, which also took place in a blue place, but it wasn’t a hotel last time… I don’t think. At least, it wasn’t this hotel.

It always amazes me that my mind can come up with such complex buildings.

Yay, five whole people care about my life.
{Read as: Five people on myspace have nothing better to do with their lives - poor you.}
It's kind of scary, though. I didn't think anyone would read it.
So, I'm learning how to play chess. I think it is an awesome game, in fact I would love to actually be able to win at some point. I was reading Josh Waitzkins introduction about why he loves chess so much {not the first one, obviously; I finished that whole thing already.} and now I do not believe I will ever be able to correctly play and win at chess. Josh loves puzzles, more than the answers, and I'm just not like that. Sure I like puzzles, but only because I want to know everything. I would have no problem with simply knowing everything in the world. It's an obvious flaw. How can a person like me play chess? I don't have the drive do the amazing feats Josh does, and I can't even tell you where D3 is on a chessboard without thinking for a full 10 seconds, and even then I probably could not explain it very well. {I do not believe '3 spaces to the right and two forward from the white side point of view' is a very good explanation.}I make foolish mistakes every time I play, almost as bad as the problems I get wrong on my math tests- like forgetting to write an x and subtracting 32 from 64 instead of 32x from -16x.
I just can't keep so many things in mind at the same time, even if I simplified it. I also can not freestyle, but I can rap very well.

It just does not make sense.

I don't think my ADHD should really have that big of an effect, if that’s what it is, I can remember what happens in a 500 page book perfectly fine. Why would my brain store those types of information differently? What the heck is wrong with my hippocampus!? Maybe it’s just something else I don’t know, eh? At any rate, I am still going to continue learning how to play chess even if the only thing I can do with it is to teach others how to play chess.

Now, as to why I want to play chess…

Not only is Josh Waitzkin’s voice almost as cool as Crispin Freeman and Q. {Quinton} Flynn but he also has a very appealing way of speaking that makes me want to pay attention… ^.^ but I digress.

The actual reason I started to learn how to play chess is because it seemed like an interesting game and I could not win at it. I like winning. I then started playing Chessmaster and realized that it is one of the best games ever. Definitely the best board game, now I am constantly thinking of chess and how chess applies to other things in life. I daydream about playing chess. I am sad; I know. The fact that I will probably never actually be able to win against an actual opponent makes me very sad, but it is okay because I love playing the game.

Dream diary pt 1&2

September 14 2008

Few nights ago:

A friend and I were at his house, and he asks me to fix him a sandwich. He said “Okay, I know this is going to sound sexist, but I really don’t want it to be. Okay? Okay?” “Okay.” “Okay, can you please make me a sandwich?” I laughed at him because he was so scared of me yelling at him. “Sure, I’ll make you a sandwhich.” I walked into the kitchen and asked “What do you want on your sandwich?” and he says “Ham, Cheese, Mayo… oh and an egg.” “Umm… how do you want the egg?” “There are a lot of eggs in the freezer, just get one and cut it up into like… fourths or something. Oh, don’t forget to keep the shell on.” “How do i-“ “It’ll work; trust me.” I do not believe this follows the laws of physics, but it did work. {I haven’t tried to do it in real life.} I gave him the sandwich and he ate it kind of slowly while watching television with me.

After he finished the sandwich he says “I really love eggs. I mean, they’re the best thing in the WHOLE WORLD, man.” “Umm, sure.” “Hey… umm, this might be kind of umm… Could you get me three more eggs?” I said “Sure.” And gave him the ‘you’re really weird’ look as I went to the kitchen to get the three eggs out of the freeze. He ate the first one whole. The second one took two or three bites and he was still eating the third when this creepy looking albino guy wearing all black comes out. The first guy says “SHE MADE ME A SANDWICH, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? IT WAS SO AWESOME”. He started jumping up and down and clapping his hands like a fangirl. I giggled at his immaturity and how happy he was to receive a sandwich. The guy asked me what was on the sandwich and I told him. “Eggs? He really does like eggs, huh?”. They started talking about eggs and it sounded like the guy was almost berating him for eating so many eggs.

Suddenly the guy asks me to get him some eggs from the freezer. So I got him four eggs, and he started to juggle them. As he was juggling them they turned different colors and then disappeared. Then he pulled a flower out of nowhere. It was cool. He says “I’m a magician, of sorts.” Then all four eggs came back and he ate them.

I woke up.

Weirdest dream I’ve ever had… maybe.

last night:

I was in something like an RPG. All of the members of the team I was in were demons. We looked like humans, but I knew we were not. The leader of the team had told us to split up in this dungeon and I noticed it was a lot like Shin Megami Tensei: Persona [3 FES FTW]. The walls in this overly decorated dungeon were blue with what I believe was golden trim and black flooring. This dungeon has regular items and special items, and when special weapons and items are revealed in this dungeon, you can see a light as they fly to another room. I saw two special items fly off from behind me to the north and I ran over there. The first item was not as important and it was a blue light. I never got to use it so I do not know if it was actually a blue light or if it changed form when I needed to use it. The second was bluish purple and actually had a form. It was a book. The book was the same bluish purple as the light pulsating from it. It had either yellow or golden writing on it and the text was glowing. I never tried to read it but I do not believe it was in English. When I ran over to the book it disappeared and the walls behind me turned into black shadow. The walls in front of me were blue, and a demon {somehow I knew he was the devil} stood in front of me. I looked up at the sky, and I noticed I was not in a dungeon anymore because the moon was right over me. The moon was white, with a slight blue tint. The rest of the sky was completely dark. Somehow, the room was much brighter than the rest of the dungeon. I could not leave due to the lack of door or wall behind me so I sat at the medium-sized circular table near the lower right corner of the room. It hand candles on it, I think there were five or six and they were evenly spaced and lit. He made me eat dinner with him and he said some scary things {I do not remember them.} to me. He really creeped me out and I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I looked up at the sky again and noticed the moon was going down the other side of the ‘room’. A few minutes later it went beyond the wall and I was transported back to where I was before. I picked up the book and ran back to my group.

We went further into the dungeon and I once again saw lights. This time there were three of them. I picked up the first two blue lights and I saw the book. For some reason I did not remember what had happened before. I ran towards it and was transported to the Moon room. I remembered what happened at that time, but it was too late. The demon smirked at me and started to walk towards me. I tried to run away from him but he caught both of my arms. He made me dance with him. I was dazed to the point where I knew I was dancing with him, but I could not do anything; it was a very odd feeling. He said he was going to hurt me the next time I came into his room, further amplifying my fear towards him. I noticed the moon’s light was almost gone and I was once again transported to the previous room. I picked up the book and ran back to the party.

We were walking around in that same dungeon and I saw some items fly in front of me {I was facing west this time} and I ran to get them. I got the blue items, ran towards the book, and once again did not realize what I was doing until I was transported into the room. This time I was afraid of him and I wanted to kick myself for being so stupid. I knew I was dreaming {I usually have lucid dreams}, and I could not figure out why I kept forgetting things mid-dream. As he was coming towards me I shrunk against the wall and ran to the left to get away from him.

{Did I mention I can feel pain in my dreams? No? Oh, yeah… I can. It sucks. One day I got burned to death by Sabrina the Teenage witch, so FRICKIN’ PAINFUL. Not as bad as the shark, though.}

He grabbed both of my arms, much like the time he made me dance with him and he pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around me so I could not move.

Then I woke up.

Weirdest dream I’ve ever had… maybe. I noticed that the directions the book were in went North, East, West.
